     Abbotts Family Charter always has a great day of friendly, family fun! Capt. Greg specializes in bay fishing in Sarasota Bay, on the flats and near-shore, along the crystal clear gulf waters of Bird Key, Siesta Key, Lido Key and Longboat Key. Capt. Greg has been fishing for over 40 years and enjoys teaching and taking people and families out to share the experience of beautiful Sarasota. While having fun fishing we may encounter dolphins, manatees, pelicans and other types of wildlife.

      Capt. Greg provides all of the bait, quality gear and tackle, fishing licenses and instruction, ice and cooler. (Don't forget your camera, hat, sunglasses, sunblock, drinks and snacks). If you would like your keeper fish for dinner, Capt. Greg will fillet them for you at no charge.

Sight-seeing/Nature Tours/Real Estate Viewing:

     Let Capt. Greg cruise up close to the backyards of beautiful homes that surround Bird Key, Siesta Key, Lido Key and Longboat Key. Capt. Greg will take you to visit the extraordinary "Rookery", which is a group of mangroves that are nesting baby pelicans, herons, egrets and cormorants. This "Rookery" is only seen by boat.

*Shore Lunches:

     Capt. Greg can cook you the best shore lunch with your catch of the day. We will pull up on a beautiful beach and he will cook all or some of your catch. You swim while he cooks - TONS OF FUN AND GREAT FOOD!

*Please let me know regarding shore lunches when booking reservations. A charge of $25 will be added.
